What GOG is
GOG is a private command-line tool. It is not a public product and is not offered for general sign-up. It is used by its operator and a small number of named collaborators to access their own Google account data from their own computers.
What data it accesses
When you authorise GOG, it may access the following on your behalf, depending on which commands you run:
- Gmail messages, labels and settings
- Google Calendar events
- Google Drive files, including Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms
- Google Contacts and directory entries
- Google Tasks, Chat, Meet and Classroom data
- Analytics, Search Console, Ads and YouTube reporting data
GOG only accesses data belonging to the Google account that authorised it.
How the data is handled
- All processing happens locally, on the machine running the tool.
- There is no GOG server. Data is never uploaded to driven.club or anywhere else.
- Your OAuth refresh token is stored in your operating system's keychain, not in a file and not in this website.
- No data is sold, rented, shared with third parties, or used for advertising.
- No data is used to train machine-learning models.
Google API Services — Limited Use
GOG's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Retention
GOG retains nothing on your behalf. Any output you ask it to write is written to your own machine, under your control, and you delete it as you would any other file.
Revoking access
You can withdraw GOG's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking immediately invalidates the stored token.
